This is a small DC motor that operates the dispenser door mechanism inside the refrigerator. It opens and closes the dispenser flap to allow ice or water to be dispensed and then seals the opening to maintain interior temperature. Replace this motor if the dispenser door does not open or close properly, gets stuck, or if you notice cold air leaking through the dispenser area.

A PTC thermistor assembly that senses temperature and provides the control board with accurate temperature feedback to help regulate heating and cycling. Replacing a faulty thermistor restores reliable temperature monitoring for safe, consistent operation. What it does:

• Monitors temperature and sends a signal to the appliance control so heating and cycles can be adjusted.
• Helps prevent overheating by enabling proper control of the heating system.
• Common symptoms of a failing thermistor: incorrect or inconsistent temperatures, heating that won't start or won't stop, extended cycle times, or temperature-related error codes.
• Works as the OEM-designated temperature sensing/feedback component for compatible LG units.

• Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair.
• Handle the assembly carefully; avoid pulling on wires or connectors—replace in the same orientation.
• May require basic hand tools and access panels.

Refrigerator not cooling or responding to controls? This main control board manages power distribution and operational commands. Restores normal function.

This is a clear or translucent cover frame that sits above the crisper drawers in the refrigerator compartment. It acts as a shelf and humidity barrier, helping regulate moisture levels around stored fruits and vegetables. Replace this cover if it is cracked, warped, or no longer sits flush, which can affect cooling efficiency and humidity control in the crisper area.

Specialized spanner tool for turning slotted nuts and collars on refrigerator components. Replace if lost, worn, or damaged to safely adjust fittings.

A replacement cover motor that powers the refrigerator's dispenser cover, allowing the door to open and close so you can access ice and water. Replaces a worn or failed motor to restore normal dispenser cover operation. What it does:

• Drives the dispenser cover mechanism so the cover opens when dispensing and closes when idle
• Helps keep the dispenser sealed to reduce drafts and prevent pests or debris from entering
• Stops or fails to move when worn, causing a stuck, slow, or noisy dispenser cover
• Works with the dispenser linkage and gears to coordinate cover motion with user controls

What's included:

• One cover motor

Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any repair
• Remove dispenser trim and access panel per your model's service instructions to reach the motor
• Handle gears and linkage carefully; ensure proper alignment during reassembly and test cover operation before finishing
