I replaced the old bucket assembly with the new one that I purchased. I believe that this bucket assembly for my LG refrigerator is not designed well by the manufacturer and I suspect that I will have to replace it with yet another one in the future. It is cheaper than replacing the whole refrigerator. I will not buy another LG appliance. Read more

So I read a number of the earlier posts regarding the required repairs and went forward with all those repairs. In short, I replaced the wiring harness, door switches, and bulbs. The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required.
