The Filter Assembly, Head is an OEM replacement part for LG refrigerators. As an essential filtration component, the filter head houses the water filter and is responsible for dispensing clean, filtered water through the refrigerator's dispenser. It works to remove contaminants and improve taste.

After much troubleshooting, I narrowed the leak down to either the filter head or the water supply line. So I changed them both. Changing them was fairly easy, about an hour job for each, not counting testing. No special tools or special setups required.
