Knob Kit
Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: W10756270

The Knob Kit is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool washing machines and dryers. Including a set of premium knobs color-matched to the appliance controls, this kit restores complete interfaces whenever old or damaged buttons need replacing. The kit includes 1 timer knob and 3 control knobs.

Causes for replacement involve normal wear from repeated touching during cycles as well as impact damage from falls or button presses gone awry over many years of service.

Symptoms necessitating a new knob kit include:

  • Cracked, broken or missing buttons impeding normal operations
  • Loosened knobs slipping out of holes or wearing partial turns
  • Discolored faded markings obscuring switch positions

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, Amana, and other major brands.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The timer knob stripped.   Karen W. • Omaha , AR • January 24, 2022

After searching and watching videos, I determined that the only way to fix my dryer was to replace the entire timer. I also needed a new knob for the timer. Unfortunately, you can not purchase just 1 knob, you have to purchase a package that contains 1 of each of the knobs on the panel. The repair was very easy! There was a video on the AppliancePartsPros website that showed exactly how to make the repair. You do not have to be an expert to make this repair. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The motor on our clothes dryer was doing a "self protection" thermal or overload shutdown and there was a strong odor in the tub   Jim S. • Fallon , NV • November 27, 2015

It took two repair attempts to fix the dryer. At first, I noticed that the rear felt seal was completely worn out, so I thought that extra friction between the tub and the rear panel might be causing the motor to have to work too hard and overheat. I ordered a new seal from appliancepartspros.com, and installed it according to their instructional video, but it did not correct the problem. Then I decided that the motor must be going bad, so I watched the on-line video on how to remove the... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Missing front panel plug & burned out light bulb in dryer drum   Will S. • Shelby Township , MI • September 28, 2015

When I found the dryer off Craigslist, I didn't notice until recently the front panel plug was missing. I ordered the plug from Appliance Parts Pros, got the part & installation took seconds as it was a snap-in part. Couldn't be any happier. Also discovered the drum would not light up when the door opened. Ordered the bulb also from Appliance Parts Pros. Unplugged the dryer, unscrewed the lens cover, removed the burned bulb, cleaned out the light area, installed the bulb, replugged the... Read more
