After searching and watching videos, I determined that the only way to fix my dryer was to replace the entire timer. I also needed a new knob for the timer. Unfortunately, you can not purchase just 1 knob, you have to purchase a package that contains 1 of each of the knobs on the panel. The repair was very easy! Found that when I "jumped" the hi limit thermostat the gas valve operated. So just went ahead and R/R the Hi limit thermostat, thermo-fuse, and the cycling thermostat. No problems. Read more
