The Grille Assembly is an OEM part for LG cooking ranges and range tops. It provides an additional flat-top cooking surface between the standard burner elements. The grille assembly itself is constructed of heavy-duty materials designed to withstand high heat levels while cooking.
Causes can be wear over time under heavy usage, accidental damage from cookware or cleaning, or failure of the heating elements underneath the plate.
Symptoms of a bad griddle plate include:
This LG part is also compatible with some Kenmore models.
Gas range won't ignite or heat properly? This valve assembly controls gas flow to your oven and burners. Restores ignition and safe operation.
Range not responding to controls or display blank? This main control board restores electronic functions and user interface. Handles timing and logic signals.
This dual safety valve controls the flow of gas to the oven burner assembly, opening to allow gas when the igniter reaches the correct temperature and shutting off the supply when the igniter cools. It is a critical safety component that prevents unburned gas from accumulating. Replace this valve if the oven fails to ignite, heats inconsistently, or if you smell gas when the oven is not in use.
Secures panels, brackets, and internal components in your range. Replace this screw if the original is missing, stripped, or rusted for proper fit.
This is a truss-head tapping screw used to secure trim, panels, and small assemblies on compatible LG appliances. It provides a low-profile, wide-bearing head that helps hold parts flush and resist pull-through. What it does:
Control knob assembly for gas range burners. Replaces worn, cracked, or broken knobs that adjust heat levels. Installs on front control panel.
If your cooktop controls are completely dead or display won't turn on, the transformer may have failed. Restores power to control board circuits.
Fix a range showing 'PF' error, no display, or randomly losing power with this power supply control board. Restores igniter and touchpad function.
The stove had previously been displaying 'PF' on the display, and randomly loosing power. Replacement of the power supply PCB restored function. As a side note, a loose wire was also found at the junction connector for the power cord behind the lower back panel. Possibly the loose wire intermittently interrupting power killed the power supply. Easy fix, and not too expensive. Read more
Uneven flame or poor heating? This gas range burner cap directs flames evenly across cookware and contains sparks. Simple snap-on installation.
Replacement screw that secures panels, trim pieces, and mounting brackets on cooktops and ranges. Needed when screws are missing, stripped, or damaged.
When Microwaving food, the display panel would seem to act normal, but the typical microwave sound would be absent. No microwave action would occur. Eventually an F5 code would display. Problem was the upper door switch. Found it by opening up the cabinet, removing the display panel (1 screw and a couple of plugs) and testing all three micro switched with a meter. Two switches are for the door and one for some kind of ventilation flap. They are all in the same area. Go to YouTube to see... Read more
This is a cast iron or heavy-duty burner grate that sits on top of the range cooktop, providing a stable surface for pots and pans over the burner. It supports cookware and allows heat to circulate evenly beneath it. Replace this grate if it is cracked, warped, rusted, or no longer sits level on the cooktop, causing cookware to wobble.
This conversion kit includes the orifices, springs, and hardware needed to convert a range from natural gas operation to liquid propane (LP) gas. It allows the burners and oven to operate safely and efficiently on LP fuel. This kit is required when installing a natural gas range in a location that only has LP gas supply.
If your range burners won't ignite or clicking continues after lighting, the spark module may be faulty. This repair typically takes 30-45 minutes.
Factory-style screw for securing panels, brackets, and assemblies on gas ranges and cooktops. Replace if missing, stripped, or damaged during repairs.
