This wire harness connects the condenser to the refrigerator's electrical system, providing power for the cooling process. It carries electrical signals that control condenser fan operation and cooling cycles. Replace if your refrigerator isn't cooling properly, the condenser fan isn't running, or you notice damaged or corroded wiring.
Ordered all the parts from Appliance Parts Pro.com and everything was dropped at my door in two days (that was unbelievable in its self) I then watched a couple of your how too videos and it all looked easy enough - right. It went so easy I was in total disbelief that it was going to work....But it did and everything is like brand new. Spitting out ice cubes and water just like it did when I bought it. Now the world is right again. Thanks Read more
This temperature sensing device monitors refrigerator compartment temperatures and sends signals to the control system for proper cooling regulation. It contains a positive temperature coefficient resistor that changes electrical resistance based on temperature changes. Replace it when temperatures become inconsistent, the refrigerator runs constantly, or cooling performance becomes poor.
Researched symptoms on internet, figured out what part i'm gonna need, went to local appl. parts center, explained what fridge was doing and was told 3 weeks to get part, and that part would NOT fix my problem!!! For a $20.00 part and Overnight shipping i'm going to give it a try. Ordered part, came next day, installed it in 5mins, and fridge/freezer are FIXED!!! So if you have an LG that's not cooling like it should be it's the "P.T.C.ASSEMBLY capacitor/overload gone bad". Read more

For an emergency fix I installed a 3 in1 kit disabling the original start cap and wiring in the original run cap to the run winding. Ordered the proper PTC and overload from Appliance Parts Pros and installed them 2 weeks later. The original start and run capacitor were good, rewired back to design specs. The original PTC had pins 1,2 and 3, the replacement had 2,3 and 4. Only wiring change was to install the red wire from pin 1 on the original PTC to pin 4 on the new PTC. Read more
