I took the wash basket out of the tub to remove all the sludge and scale that had accumulated over the years. But I did not have a spanner wrench to remove the large nut holding the basket to the center shaft. No problem - I used a hammer and chisel on the ears. But didn't realize it was a LEFT HAND THREAD!! That's when the nut split in two and I had no choice but to purchase another. Long story short, it's back together and the washer doesn't smell anymore. Live and learn... Read more

Fix water leaking onto the floor or uneven tub filling with this upper water injector. Directs inlet water cleanly into the tub. Easy DIY replacement.
An easy fix for the most part. I had no idea what I was doing, but glad I bought both upper and lower injectors. Not sure why these are separate parts? Cheap plastic. I did not get the hose clamp because I didn't think I would need it. You probably do, so go ahead and just order it or grab one if you have one laying around. Mine is hooked up without it for now which I'm sure I will regret later but I needed to get our washer running immediately due to a bed bug situation in our house. Read more
Fix a loose or slipping agitator that clicks or ratchets during wash cycles. This spring restores proper tension inside the agitator assembly.
Found the wonderful parts diagrams you most generously share online and a couple of YouTube videos . I determined it should be repairable. In my cast the agitator shaft was frozen (rusted) in place. I was very fortunate to have been able to eventually remove it with the use of a lot of BP penetrating oil and heat. Long and short the replacement parts fit perfectly and the washer is running like new. Special thanks to the online support make my repair possible. Read more

Dryer not drying properly or leaking? This elbow pipe redirects air or water lines around tight spaces. Restores proper flow and stops leaks. Easy install.
I found the Appliance Parts Pros website and WOW! I am very grateful that I found the website! I called the phone number on the website and there was a woman who took my call and was extremely helpful with helping me determine an optimal course of action. She advised that I follow the video that was on the website to verify that I needed a dryer belt. This had been my assumption up until the time I had spoken with her. but I was not basing my assumption base on seeing that I needed a new dryer... Read more

Routes wastewater from your washer to the household drain. Replace this hose if it's cracked, kinked, leaking, or causing puddles around your unit.
I cannot believe this machine still runs. APP has sold me repair parts for this unit now 3 times. First I wanted to replace the old belts. They still worked but was more a preventative thing. Next was a water control valve a few years ago. This time I noticed a leak near the valve again. I decided to buy a new valve and also replace all the rubber hoses that were 35 years old. The repair took about 3 hours. 1.5 to remove the old parts and do a cleaning that was greatly needed. 0.5 hours to... Read more

Torx-head screw set secures panels and components throughout your laundry center. Replace worn, stripped, or missing fasteners to keep parts tight.
Removed the agitator, then the spacer and lock screw, then the inside tub, then the mounting stem I replaced the agitator collar to fix the issue The hardest part on this project was removing the locks with the spanner wrench. It is not easy to break loose if the machine has never been repaired in 15 years. You need the rubber hammer and really hit hard to get loose. This is what took the longest. (Approximately 1 hour for me) Read more
