Fixing the problem was quite simple. First, I removed the lid assembly (thanks to the diagrams supplied by AppliancePartsPros.com!). Getting the back two screws out was very difficult because I couldn't see them from the front and I could not move the unit out of the enclosed space. After some trial and error, I located the screws which were 5/16 hex head screws and removed them with a MAGNETIC nut driver. 21-inch drain hose extension for washers. Extends existing drain hose when original is too short to reach standpipe. Includes clamp for secure fit.
Ordered a new drain hose and extension part. The prices including shipping were more reasonable than driving back and forth to the store just to piece meal parts together. Very frustrating. Fix a washer that won't advance cycles or gets stuck between rinse and spin. This cycle selector switch controls washing cycle progression.
Size: 8 foot long. This external washer drain hose is needed when there is more distance between the washer and the drain. Note: comes with 1.5" diameter clamp but hose is 1.25" in diameter; therefore you may need to order the 1.25" diameter clamp separately: WP356138

Used for the pressure switch.
Watched on line Video. Only problem was in disconnecting wire "bus" connector from switch. I was unable to remove connector without damaging it. I "jumped" connector to prove switch was faulty. This also allowed my wife to continue to do laundry while part arrived. I ordered a 3 circuit connector, but this was not the correct part. I ended up removing 3 wires from old broken connector and attaching them to new switch without a connector. Electrical tape did the trick. Not perfect... Read more
