This DC motor drives the refrigerator's circulation fan, moving air across the coils and through the compartments for steady, efficient cooling. Replacing a weak, noisy, or seized motor restores airflow and temperature stability. What it does:
This motor support damper sits between the refrigerator's compressor and base to absorb vibration and movement. Replacing a worn damper helps quiet rattles and humming from the back of the cabinet and keeps the compressor properly supported.
A film radial capacitor used in appliance electrical assemblies to stabilize voltage and support motor and control circuits. Replaces a worn or failed film capacitor to restore consistent operation and reduce electrical noise. What it does:
For an emergency fix I installed a 3 in1 kit disabling the original start cap and wiring in the original run cap to the run winding. Ordered the proper PTC and overload from Appliance Parts Pros and installed them 2 weeks later. The original start and run capacitor were good, rewired back to design specs. The original PTC had pins 1,2 and 3, the replacement had 2,3 and 4. Only wiring change was to install the red wire from pin 1 on the original PTC to pin 4 on the new PTC. Read more
