Watched on line Video. Only problem was in disconnecting wire "bus" connector from switch. I was unable to remove connector without damaging it. I "jumped" connector to prove switch was faulty. This also allowed my wife to continue to do laundry while part arrived. I ordered a 3 circuit connector, but this was not the correct part. I ended up removing 3 wires from old broken connector and attaching them to new switch without a connector. Electrical tape did the trick. Not perfect... Read more

This is an electrically operated valve that controls the flow of water from your household supply into the washer tub. It opens and closes in response to signals from the control board to fill the tub during wash and rinse cycles. Replace this valve if the washer won't fill with water, fills slowly, continues to fill when it shouldn't, or if you notice leaking near the water supply connections at the back of the machine.

This washer lid covers the top of your washing machine and contains the safety mechanisms that prevent the washer from operating when open. It houses the lid lock and safety switches that detect when the lid is properly closed.
