Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. I ordered the lid from Appliance Parts Pros which arrived very quickly. Received it with in two days of the order. I was debating for 7 years whether or not to order the lid. Washing machine worked and is still working perfectly, but the integrity of the old lid was so degraded even after having taken steps to preserve it for as long as possible. 7 years ago I saw the beginning of the lid showing signs of rust. The repair guy told me if I have him fix it I should just buy a new one. I like my washer and dryer because it's a combo and takes up little space so I decided to fix it myself. Not sure if I got lucky but appliance parts pros had a video with almost my exact washer which made repair very easy. Read more

The agitator cap assembly is the top cover piece that fits over the washing machine's central agitator post and locks the agitator fins in place. It keeps the agitator components secured during heavy wash loads. Replace this part when the cap is cracked, missing, or has broken tabs that allow the agitator to wobble or come loose during a cycle.
