Replacement fastening screw for securing trim, panels, and brackets inside appliances. Use when original screw is missing, stripped, or damaged.
I pulled out the old housing and unplugged the motor. It pretty much came out in pieces. Remove the plastic from the motor, then had to take a pair of vice grips to hold the spindle in place to remove the auger. Remove what was still attached to the old Housing. Cleaned everything up and put the whole unit back together. The motor looked like it was somewhat cooked but still worked, so I ordered a new motor and auger to replace it. Because this fridge is 24 yrs old, Appliancepartspros... Read more

I removed the front door and the cover. Then I removed the top and tilted it back. I was checking the switches along the outside of the drum when I noticed the right spring hanging down. I then noticed the mount it attached to had worn through. Further checking revealed the spring too was almost worn through. I then checked the spring and mount on the left side and it too was in bad shape. I ordered a pair of springs and mounts from Appliance Pros in the afternoon and they were shipped the... Read more

Seals and cushions the vent tube where it passes through the cabinet, preventing air leaks and vibration noise. Replace if cracked or worn. Verify fit.
I replaced the inner door panel, vent grommet, and door boot seal. Replacing these items was pretty straightforward, especially with the repair videos playing in the background. The only "challenging" things were getting the boot attached to the drum area and removing/reattaching the spring+cable around the boot seal. The total time also includes cleaning the inside of the washer and using some anti-rust jelly on the top panel near the detergent door. Washer is working great now. Read more
