This rotary switch controls the spin and agitation speeds of your washing machine through six different position settings. It regulates motor speed during wash and spin cycles for optimal cleaning and water extraction. Replace if clothes aren't spinning properly, agitation is too slow or fast, or the switch feels loose or unresponsive.

This electric motor powers the washer's agitator and spin cycle, driving the transmission that moves clothes through wash cycles. Located at the bottom of the washer beneath the tub, replace it if the washer won't agitate, spin, or makes grinding noises during operation.
