This protective component secures the power cord where it enters the washer cabinet, preventing wire damage from movement or strain. Replace if the power cord pulls loose, shows signs of damage at the entry point, or the washer intermittently loses power.

We replaced the lid hinges with new bushings as this is a very old machine and they were worn out affecting the position of the hinges and thereby affecting the lid switch. Also replaced the lid switch, which was a breeze with the help of the video. Thanks to the Covid 19, I was bored and fixed the problem because I had to stay home and do stuff that I was putting off.
