Small replacement screw that secures panels and internal components on compatible appliances. Restores proper fastening to reduce rattling and loose parts so controls and panels stay aligned during normal use. What it does:
- Secures panels, brackets, and small components to the appliance frame or assemblies.
- Helps stop rattling, vibration-related noise, and movement from loose parts.
- Replaces a missing, worn, or stripped fastener to restore proper mounting.
- Used wherever the original manufacturer specified this screw in service diagrams.
What's included: One screw. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water before working on the appliance to avoid shock or injury.
- Match the replacement screw to the original by fit and thread before installation; do not force mismatched fasteners.
- Start the screw by hand to avoid cross-threading; tighten securely but avoid over-torquing which can strip threads or damage components.
- Refer to the appliance's service manual or parts diagram for exact location and any torque or threadlocker recommendations.

Door latch on my dishwasher was broken William H. • Columbia , SC • January 26, 2018
Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPro's, watched the video, new latch works perfect. I've repaired several appliances in my house by diagnosing simple problems going to AppliancePartsPro's diagram's, ordering the part and installing myself. Never had any problems. The bearing in the back of the dryer was tricky but worked great. Keep track of all parts when you disassemble and assemble in reverse order. Taking photos as you disassemble helps for referencing if you get stumped.
