Ordered a replacement, installed and problem corrected. One drip pan seal also needed to be replaced and was easily fixed with the Seal-Tape. I removed the right rear drip pan to access and replace the spark module. Easy repair. Read more
This part is a genuine OEM drip pan that has been manufactured by Whirlpool for use with electric ranges. The drip pan fits underneath the burner to catch spills or drips from cooking food, and prevents spills from entering into the internal components of the appliance. Drip pans can become bent, dented, warped, corroded, lost, or excessively dirty over time, requiring replacement. No tools are required to replace this part. Simply remove the old drip pan, remove the burner, slide the replacement drip pan into place, and then put back the burner. Ensure the range is entirely cooled down and powered off before attempting this.
