This is an upper dish rack assembly for dishwashers. It is located in the top section of the dishwasher and is meant to ensure dishes stay in place while the dishwasher is running. The dish rack assembly is durable but can experience damage, stains, or other issues. This may make it unsuitable for holding dishes in the appliance. If the part is damaged or malfunctioning, it should be replaced with a new part.This is a simple replacement that takes only a few minutes to complete. First, open up the dishwasher. Remove the bottom rack if desired to create more room to work with the upper dish rack assembly. Take a small flathead screwdriver and use it to release the retaining tabs located on the stop clips. Remove the stop clips and the old dish rack assembly will slide out. Align the new assembly and slide it into place before reassembling other small parts.This upper dish rack assembly is used as an authentic OEM replacement part for dishwashers manufactured by Maytag, Norge, Jenn Air, Admiral, Amana, Crosley, and Magic Chef.
