This latch mechanism secures the fold-down tines in your dishwasher's upper rack. It allows you to fold tines flat for loading large dishes and keeps them locked in position during wash cycles. Replace this part if tines won't stay folded down or pop up unexpectedly during washing.

Control buttons acting erratic or not responding? This dishwasher control panel vent seal blocks moisture and dust that cause button failure. Easy install.
Push buttons are membrane-type. The wiring inside the membrane corrodes over time (and heat and moisture) until it just doesn't work at all. The membrane is integrated with the top plastic panel - not separately replaceable. Replaced the control panel that's on the top of the door. Easy to fix!
