This top panel is the painted metal cover that sits on the range's upper surface, restoring a clean appearance and protecting internal components from spills and heat. It replaces worn, dented, or discolored top covers. What it does:

• Covers and protects the range's front/top area and underlying components from spills and debris
• Restores the appliance's finished appearance after dents, chips, or paint wear
• Helps maintain proper spacing for controls and trim pieces
• Stops light cosmetic drafts and prevents direct access to internal wiring

• Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any work.
• Remove cooktop or control trim as needed to access mounting screws; keep hardware for re-use.
• Support the panel during removal and installation to avoid scratching surrounding surfaces.
