I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more

I removed the oven back and I verified conductivity of the boiler element with an ohm meter. I then checked for a loose connection on the switch. The switch lead on one side was loose in the body of the switch. I replaced the limit switch and the broiler now works.
