This main back insulation panel replaces the factory foam insulation behind the refrigerator cabinet to help reduce heat transfer and minimize noise. Installing the correct back insulation helps the refrigerator maintain temperature more consistently. What it does:

• Provides thermal barrier behind the cabinet to slow heat gain from the rear.
• Helps limit compressor and airflow noise by absorbing sound near the rear cavity.
