This waterline supplies cold water from the household supply to refrigerator components mounted in the cabinet area, ensuring a steady flow for ice makers or water dispensers. Replace damaged or leaking lines to restore proper water delivery. What it does:
Connects the dispenser motor to the ice bucket auger. Replace if stripped, worn, or broken to restore proper torque transfer and smooth ice dispensing.
Removed drip pan from ice dispenser. Removed two screws hidden behind drip pan to loosen bezel at bottom. Carefully lifted bezel off top hook to expose controller board cabling. Disconnected three connectors to control board behind bezel to remove bezel completely. Removed two (possibly three) screws to access the back of the ice chute mechanism.
