Ordered a very expensive piece of plastic in hopes it would prevent me from trashing an expensive and old freezer. Followed the instructions and the new gasket fit very easily. I used the hair dryer to reform the gasket per instructions. Although the gasket does seal, the freezer no longer has the vacum seal swoosh that was with the original gasket. Simply took out old that was falling apart and pushed in the new one. Because it was packaged bent in two places, it didn't fit as snugly in one section as it should, the bend wouldn't totally straighten, but hoping it's OK. Read more
I replaced the gasket on the door. Pretty easy to do . Had to unscrew panel a bit to get it in there good, but appears to be working. Use the hairdryer trick to loosen up the gasket for a better fit. Read more
First checked the power then took off the compresser connections cover looked for burnt wires or loose or disconnected wires they were none of those I then removed the wires from the starter an overload protector removed them checked both for contunuaty overload protector no contunuaty then I checked the 3 poles on the comp. for contunuaty they were ok then I checked each pole to ground on the com. to final check that the comp. was still good Read more
