This is the rear bulkhead panel that forms the back wall of the dryer drum cavity. It supports the drum and helps seal the drying compartment to maintain proper airflow and heat circulation. Replace this part if it is warped, cracked, or damaged, which can cause the drum to wobble, create unusual noises, or allow heat to escape during drying cycles.
