This part is a replacement clock control panel with the overlay for an oven. Users must enter their commands for the oven through the interface, which sends a signal to the control panel. Over time, the overlay will suffer from wear and tear through normal use. The control panel can also develop internal faults.Replacing the overlay and control panel is not difficult. Users will first need to unplug the oven or turn off the breaker. Next, move the oven outward to access the back. Remove the mounting screws from the access panel and locate the control panel. Remove the screws and disconnect the wiring, then remove both the control panel and the overlay. I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more
