Whirlpool WP74006427 Oven Valve (Gas) OEM Part

Performed basic troubble shooting, found gas valve would not allow oven to turn on but broiler worked. Ordered new valve which came quickly Thank you. Shut off gas to stove and removed power then proceded to remove and install new valve. Oven now works great...

I put the new Oven Valve in it . but it steal don,t work wright. Now it won,t preheat the oven and if it doze the gas fumes are real strong . Bad oven valve maybe . It never did that before i put the new valve in.

The replacement parts and the instructional video were perfect. The stove is working like it’s brand new. Thank you very much. Highly recommended

Google search for error codes and found the probability of a problem with the control board. Called a Sears Repair service and they advised it was the thermostat. We replaced the thermostat and the oven still didn't work. Called the repairman back out and got a different person. They said it was the control board but they were no longer available. He suggested a search on the intranet and we found a company to rebuild the item. Our original parts ordered from Appliance Parts Pro were delivered to us on time, actually well ahead of what I expected. The other part I ordered, the oven valve was delivered the next day. Today I am replacing one of the igniters and it has only taken two (2) days to get that part processed and sent to me. When I was speaking with the company representative and ordering the parts she was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If I asked a question, and I asked many of them, and she couldn't answer it she would put me on hold for a minute and then provide the information to me. Overall, working with the staff has been a very pleasant experience. My original issue was the control board but turned into a "rebuild". Without their videos and expertise the job would have been much more difficult. Thanks to you all for your assistance. I hope this job is finally done...
