This oven bake igniter lights the bake burner so your oven can reach and maintain temperature. A weak or failed igniter causes no heat in bake or very long preheat times. What it does:
First thing I did was call a repairman from best buy to come out and take a look. After only fifteen minutes he determined that my stove was to old and replacement parts were not available. I replaced the Igniter switch, two control valves and one holder/orifice (because I couldn't get the screws out and decided to just replace it rather than re-tape it and get new screws). The one thing I forgot was I have propane and the orifice was for natural gas. Fortunately, I was able to swap out the orifice from the old holder. Read more

Could not find any video or instructions. Cut power shut off gas. Removed both doors to lighten the weight. Pulled stove out. 2 screws in the front above the door hold the top down. That only allowed you to peek in and could not pull it forward. Removed 2 back panels where I found the tag with the model number (none on the front or the door) hiding, and discovered a gas line connected to the top. Handle fell off oven which itself seemed like an easy fix but noticed frame at bottom was showing some corrosion, so I ordered a replacement part for the frame. Part was back ordered and Appliance Parts Pros kept me up to date when part was to arrive. Part arrived on date promised but part was bent during shipping.
