This is a high voltage diode wire assembly used in the microwave's power circuit. It works with the capacitor and magnetron to convert electrical current and generate microwave energy for cooking. This is a glass or plastic lens cover that sits over the interior light bulb inside the microwave. It protects the light bulb from grease, food splatter, and heat while allowing light to illuminate the cooking cavity.
