This is a hose connector that attaches to the outlet or drain hose on the washer, ensuring a secure, leak-free connection for water flowing out of the machine. Replace this connector if you notice water leaking at the hose junction, if the connector is cracked or corroded, or if the hose keeps slipping off during the drain cycle.

This is the lower cover panel for the detergent dispenser drawer on a front-load washing machine. It snaps onto the bottom of the dispenser drawer to enclose the compartment and direct water flow properly during the wash cycle. Replace this cover if it is cracked, missing, or warped, which can cause detergent to dispense incorrectly or water to leak from the dispenser area.

Had a small leak and removed the lower front panel (2 screws) *PRO TIP- a screwdriver that takes bits is the exact size with no bit in it. Removed the bit and use just the ratcheting screwdriver open end to remove the washer screws* I also removed the top panel (3 screws) to get a better look. Fixes F02 drain error codes and slow draining. This small ball creates a seal in the tub-to-pump hose to control water flow. Simple DIY replacement.
Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up).
