This control box is the protective housing that secures and organizes the freezer's control components and wiring, helping keep electrical parts dry and properly mounted so the freezer's controls operate reliably. What it does:

• Houses and protects the freezer control board, relays, and wiring from damage and moisture
• Keeps wiring organized and secured to prevent loose or chafed connections
• Helps maintain reliable control operation when the original box is cracked, broken, or missing
• Common symptoms: visible damage to the plastic housing, loose wiring inside the compartment, intermittent control behavior, or burnt/plastic-odor near the control area

• Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair to avoid electrical shock
• Installation typically requires removing interior panels or the control access panel; keep fasteners for reassembly
• Handle electrical connectors and the control board carefully; avoid touching circuit contacts
