This specialized Torx wrench is designed to remove and install screws with star-shaped heads commonly found in refrigerator components. It provides the proper grip and torque needed for secure fastening of internal parts. Use this tool when replacing refrigerator components that require Torx screws for assembly.
I defrosted the freezer and replaced the defrost temperature switch on the cooling coils. I cut the wires and used two small wire nuts to complete the splices. I defrosted the freezer with a hair dryer, but you have to careful not to melt the thin plastic walls and bottom of the freezer. You only need a nut driver, wire cutter, and wire stripper and two small wire nuts, (not supplied with part). Read more

After inspection it was noted that door was not sealing securely and the internal temp for the refrigerator section was not holding within required temperatures. Fixed by ordering new door seal and installing that seal. Read more
