After not finding the needed parts to extend the hose at home depot, i turned to online help. I was able to find the right parts quickly on your site and was able to even watch a few videos on how to do the repair. I was beyond amazed that the parts arrived the next day, even though a Saturday and even with standard shipping. I was fortunate enough that my repair did not need any real explanation and the job was done in less than 10 minutes. Felt really good to be able to solve the problem,... Read more
Fix a washer that won't start or door that won't stay locked with a new door latch. Common when the lid unlocks during cycles or clicks but opens easily.
OK this is one of those stories that can't help but encourage those of us who have absolutely no idea how appliances work and yet by simply refusing to pay such ridiculous repair prices can honestly get it done with a "FRACTION" of the cost. So here is my story & the scary unknown(s) BUT the incredible help offered to me to successfully win the ( I won't allow you to take advantage of me ) anymore conclusion. I had a 2 1/2-year-old Maytag coin wash machine that just quit working; after... Read more
Specialty tool designed to properly align and press bearings into washer tubs. Essential for secure bearing installation during repair or replacement jobs.
After ignoring for a couple of years that the bearings were bad on our Whirlpool Cabrio washer and just closing the door to the laundry room, it started slinging grease underneath during the spin cycle. Knowing that the cost to call out a repairman would be close to the cost of a new washer, I decided that it would be a nice Saturday project after reviewing AppliancePartsPros’ repair video. The bearing & tub seal kit and bearing installation tool arrived in two days. I’ve done a lot of... Read more

First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available.... Fix loud spinning noise or slipping agitator issues. This screw secures the basket hub assembly. Single screw sold individually (6 needed).
I had to cut the old agitator out with an oscillating saw in order to access the agitator drive. This is the second Maytag (MVWC 565) I have had to do this to. I first tried removing it by sliding straps under the agitator then then using a jack to pull it loose which did not work either time. One suggestion I have would be to remove debris from tub as you cut in order to prevent it from dropping from the inner tub into the outer tub. Read more

Internal drain hose routes water from the washer tub to the external drain. Replace if cracked, leaking, or damaged from constant use or obstructions.
I had previously replaced the transmission in my two year old Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine. Overall it was in good shape but gets heavy use. That repair was approximately $200 and worked for several months. Recently it began leaking. At first I thought it was the tub-to-shaft seal. I replaced this part but it was still leaking. It turns out it was the simplest of things... The drain hose was not connected very well! I replaced the drain hose ($11 part) and while I was at it I... Read more
