I had to do this by myself and I knew the drum assembly is very heavy. I had watched a video online where they used a strap to hold up the drum. However, my drum had nothing to hook to. So, since I had the front and back off, I slid a 2x4 under the drum from front to back, supported the front of the 2x4, and then lifted the drum with a hydraulic floor jack from the back.
