Replace your gas range's control knob assembly if it's cracked, broken, or missing. This knob mounts on the control panel to operate burners and oven.
Replace your range's side panel if it's cracked, dented, or damaged. This exterior panel installs on the side of your range to restore appearance.
This is a cooling fan sensor board that monitors and controls the operation of the cooling fan in a range or oven. It helps regulate internal temperatures by signaling the fan to run during and after cooking to protect electronic components from overheating. Replace this board if the cooling fan does not turn on, runs continuously, or if you receive error codes related to the cooling fan or oven temperature regulation.
You will need a Philips screwdriver, nut driver, and star drivers for this repair. Cordless drill recommended. TURN OFF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE STARTING!!! Simple fix. Our oven is a GE dual fuel (gas burners on top, electric elements inside) model # J2S968SOH4SS. The lower element hidden underneath the bottom drip cover stopped heating. I had to remove the front door of the oven which is also easy to remove in order to slide out the lower drip cover. Instructions to do this are in the owners manual.
