Changed the water inlet valve for the water problem. To fix the problem of washer running while door was open, took off the front panel and changed the plunger sw interlock and spring which fixed the problem of washer running while door was opened mid wash cycle. Changed the clamp to the discharge hose as it had rusted.Changed keeper latch assembly as it had cracks on the plastic. Read more

Although that this is a 10 yrs old appliance, I decided to repair it as it is part of the entire set in the kitchen. Only the Inlet sump was leaking, but I decided to replace all parts that are made with similar material to avoid further problems. Removed dishwasher from it niche, examined the bottom, and found out what parts I needed. Went on line, found Appliance Parts Pro, looked at their video, saw that I could do it, and ordered the parts. When the parts arrived, removed old parts, and inserted new ones. It took longer to remove the dishwasher from it's niche, than to replace the parts. Read more

This mechanism assembly is the timed control component that advances and governs cycle functions, restoring proper cycle sequencing and timing for the appliance. It replaces a worn or non-advancing timer mechanism. What it does:
Secures wine glasses and goblets in your dishwasher rack. Replace broken, cracked, or missing stemware clips to prevent tipping during wash cycles.
There is apparently a weakness in the design of the stemware gripper, since both grippers in the dishwasher exhibited the same fault in the same places. Fortunately, replacing them is both inexpensive and a snap (literally - they just snap into place). It goes very smoothly if you bow the gripper slightly and insert the two end pegs first, then snap in the two mid-point clips. Read more
