We had no idea what model GE Profile refrigerator we had (bought it dented, no model number to be found, the shelf broke early and we glued it - unsuccessfully) so it was ALMOST impossible to find the right part. Not a repairman just a common sense DIY homeowner.....Due to the size of our kitchen we have to have a counter depth fridge.
