This articulation mullion is the flip-out center rail on a French-door refrigerator. It swings into place as the door closes to seal the gap between doors, helping maintain proper temperatures and limit moisture around the center joint.

Provides the pivoting center rail that engages the opposite door to complete the seal
Common signs of failure: cracked or loose mullion, won't flip or latch, doors not closing smoothly, or moisture/condensation near the center
Helps restore proper door sealing and reduce air leaks between doors
Mounts on the door edge in the same location as the original flipper

Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing
Remove door bins if needed for access
