This replacement part is a refrigerator crisper pan. The crisper pan is the drawer of the refrigerator where vegetables are stored to keep them fresh. If the pan has been cracked or is no longer operable, it might be time to replace it. Replacing this part is a very simple process.To replace the crisper pan, simply pull the old pan out and lift to remove it completely. After it's been removed, install the new one by gently gliding it into its track. Be sure it is aligned properly. If it opens and closes smoothly the installation was a success. This genuine OEM part is sold individually and is compatible with General Electric brand refrigerators.

This temperature-sensitive switch is located within the refrigerator's cooling system and automatically cycles the compressor on and off to maintain proper temperatures. Replace when the refrigerator runs constantly, doesn't cool properly, or maintains inconsistent temperatures.
The defrost thermostat is located in the freezer section and controls when the defrost cycle activates to prevent ice buildup on the evaporator coils. Replace it if you notice excessive frost accumulation, inconsistent temperatures, or if the defrost cycle never runs.
