This articulation mullion is the flip-out center rail on a French-door refrigerator. It swings into place as the door closes to seal the gap between doors, helping maintain proper temperatures and limit moisture around the center joint.
I pulled out the cracked shelf and laid it on the kitchen table. I laid the new shelf next to it, and one by one, moved each part from the old to the new. The whole process took about 15 minutes. Luckily when the glass shelf arrived it was the right one....although it was not an easy job getting the shelf out to put glass in. Service delivery was quick and price was surprisely low.
