The left door hinge is the mechanical pivot assembly mounted on the left side of your refrigerator or appliance that allows the door to swing open and closed smoothly. It bears the weight of the door and keeps it aligned with the cabinet for a proper seal. Replace this hinge if the door sags, scrapes against the cabinet, or no longer closes and seals correctly.

Replaced the thermal limit switch and blower. The blower had been getting noisy lately and was most likely the cause of the limit switch blowing. Upon removal of the blower it was very stiff when turning by hand. Easy to change the blower - disconnect the power, open the back of the range and three Phillips screws hold the blower in place. I purchased and replaced the door lock mechanism. It took some YouTube research and trial and error to disassemble the oven controls to get to the mechanism, but once replaced and reassembled, all worked well. Read more
