The range hood control panel overlay is the printed label that covers the control buttons and displays cycle options on your range hood. It provides clear marking for fan speeds, lighting controls, and other functions. Replace this overlay if the text has worn off, buttons are unclear, or if the overlay is peeling or damaged.
Pretty easy job for a DIYer. The control panel gets loose when the plastic tabs break for one reason or the other. You can replace the control board housing without having to replace the control board.
