I bought a replacement turbidity sensor and swapped it out. Very simple and straightforward. However there is one trick to be know. When I pulled out the bad sensor, drain water spilled from the hole and trickled into the motherboard housing! I then had to pull out the board and check it for damage. I left it in front of a box fan for 5 hours just in case. All is well. Read more

We took off the front door cover and found that the vent had failed some time ago- the flap was frozen open, the motor did not work. We removed the three screws and the vent came of- putting the new one back was just that simple except that I had to remove the protective paper from the adhesive covered gasket around the surface of vent. When I identified a leak coming from the Heating Coil, I saw that the Heating Element Nut on both sides were corroded and could not hold the heating element tight any more.
