This replacement part is a bushing, and it is intended for use in different types of appliances. This is a genuine replacement part made by Frigidaire. This bushing is typically found in dishwashers but is compatible with other devices as well. The bushings are an important part of many appliances as they help reduce friction inside the machine during the different washing cycles. A new bushing might be needed if the current ones are broken or damaged. It is common that different machinery needs multiple types of bushings. These small but important parts are placed around tubes or poles and are meant to assist during the rotating or sliding mechanisms. Be sure the machine is completely powered off as the area with the bushings is often hot from friction. See the owner's manual for more exact instructions before attempting to replace this part. These bushings are sold separately and are OEM replacement parts. These bushings are compatible with appliances made by Frigidaire.

I put in 4 new parts ad gave it a try. had water under dish washer about the size of a half dollar , I dried it up and washed more dishes and pots. No leak that time, and it has been doing fine since. I'd say water was just what was laying on the water lines and shook off. If you see water the first time don't worry wipe it up and use it some more to see if it leaks. GOOD LUCK!!! Read more

We removed the three screws and the vent came of- putting the new one back was just that simple except that I had to remove the protective paper from the adhesive covered gasket around the surface of vent. Testing showed that the flap was now free but did not close during the running cycle. I swapped the leads from the dispenser motor with those on the vent and... Read more
