The dairy door protects items from temperature fluctuations due to frequent door openings. It measures about 14 inches wide by 6 inches high.

System suddenly stopped dispensing ice and water. The light for the ice and water dispenser also stopped working. But some of the buttons for "extra ice" and "filter reset" still seemed to work.
