• Disconnect power and unplug the appliance before accessing panels or fasteners
• Position the clip over the panel edge or hole, then press or slide until it snaps into place
• Align the mating screw and thread carefully to avoid cross-threading the clip
• Use hand tools or pliers for placement; do not over-torque the screw once installed
