This gearcase is the drive transmission that transfers motor power to the washer agitator and basket, restoring normal agitation and spin performance. It replaces a worn or damaged transmission assembly to help the washer move and clean properly. What it does:

• Transfers motor torque to the agitator and tub so the washer can agitate and spin
• Restores normal agitation or spinning when the transmission is worn or stripped
• Stops slipping, grinding, or inconsistent motion caused by damaged gears
• Works with the motor coupling and drive components to maintain correct drive alignment
