Replaced motor and solenoid cube along with dispenser auger. Simply watched video on repair and installation and really had no problem. My refrigerator is so old that one of the holes in the motor did not align properly. Had to drill another hole to mount the motor to the housing, took ten minutes. The ice auger took the longest as I was afraid of breaking the plastic housing trying to get the tabs to release. Had to watch the video twice to make sure I got the blades back in the right order.... Read more
Swapped it out for new tube. Take 5 minutes and zero effort. The drain tube will clog with mold. You can clean it out but the tube will clog again despite's you best efforts as the tube wall provide a great habitat. Ordered new tubes to facilitate swap-outs. Old tubes can be cleaned but will recolonize quickly. Read more

In addition to the auger, the knives that crush the ice cubes was not working properly. I ordered the ice bucket assembly and replaced the old one. In checking with another supplier, I found you had a considerable savings of $105. Also, the other supplier informed me it could take up to 3 months the get the product. Pulled out old door gasket, pressed nice new one into place; Pulled out broken Door Dairy Clear, snapped nice NEW (unscratched, uncracked) one into place! Boom Bang! It's done! Read more

Common theme on the blogs was thermistors and or defrost heater/thermostat. Ran self-diagnostics which turned on defrost heater which was fine. I removed main control board cover and move Fridge a foot or so from wall. Problem reduced but still there. I suspected a heat sensitivity problem with main control board. I replaced the main control board and it resolved the issue. Read more
