Ordered the new interface display - this must be the easiest refrigerator repair possible. My version popped right off without even a screw (some models have a screw). There are 3 different sizes of connector to disconnect and hook up to the new board - so you really can't mess that up. Read more
Replaced interface display and main control board. I saw videos and asked for some help from the store. Information on your web site helped. Specially about the dimming light on the display assembly is an indication of main board went bad. Removed the lower right back panel and followed a GE Troubleshooting/support video for side-by-side GE models. AppliancePartPros shipped overnight when both Sears and GE didn't. Pricing was better than GE and competitive with other appliance part sites. Read more
