I ordered a new interface display assembly to replace the cracked/broken face plate. You have to replace the whole interface display as the face plate is built integral with the interface. There is no option to just replace the plastic. The repair was extremely easy and involved prying off the old display with a flat head screwdriver, unplugging the old display, plugging in the new display and snapping it back into position. Ordered the new interface display - this must be the easiest refrigerator repair possible. My version popped right off without even a screw (some models have a screw). There are 3 different sizes of connector to disconnect and hook up to the new board - so you really can't mess that up. Read more
Replaced interface display and main control board. I saw videos and asked for some help from the store. Information on your web site helped. Specially about the dimming light on the display assembly is an indication of main board went bad. Installed new touch pad. Installation took less than five minutes. However, to tweak the temps in the fridge took three days. Back on track with normal refrigerator temps. Read more
